User Access questions & answers

  1. If I select only one advertiser in User Access, does it mean the advertiser is the only one visible to the user or the only one hidden?

When selecting an advertiser, pay attention to the include/exclude filter on the right side of the field.

  • If you choose an advertiser and select “Include”, only data from this advertiser will be visible to the user.

  • If you choose an advertiser and select “Exclude”, the user will see data from all advertisers except for the selected one.

  1. If I do not select anything in the Affiliate/Advertiser field (i.e., leave them empty), what can the user see?

In this case, the user will have access to all data from all your advertisers and affiliates.

  2. I need a user to view data only from a specific affiliate and also see rejected leads. How can I set this up?

In the “Enable traffic for selected users” section, select the required affiliate and apply the “Include” filter:

Note: Before selecting an affiliate, do not forget to select a corresponding traffic provider.
For the
“Rejected Leads” field, select “Show”:

With this setup, the user will only see traffic data from Affiliate 1 and leads rejected by the selected advertisers.

  1. What is the difference between User Access in Control and User Access in Lead Distribution? Which one has higher priority?

User Access in both Control Product and Lead Distribution works in the same way. However, it is recommended to use Control Product, as the feature will soon be removed from Lead Distribution for better convenience.

  2. Why should I create a separate access for every user now?

To prevent sharing unnecessary information with unintended users and to ensure more precise user access, you need to set up rules individually.
If multiple users require the same access limitations, you can quickly copy the necessary rule from an existing user with just one click.

  3. How can I allow a user with the user@email.com email address to view only traffic in Drilldown reports sent by a specific affiliate?

To do that, follow the steps below:

  • In the User Management tab, find the user linked to the specified email address.

  • Go to their User Access tab.

  • In the “Enable traffic for selected users” section, select the traffic provider associated with the required affiliate and choose the affiliate itself.

This setup ensures the user can only view traffic in Drilldown reports sent by the selected affiliate.

  1. Why can I select an advertiser, but there is no dropdown for affiliates?

To select an affiliate in User Access, you first need to select a corresponding traffic provider, as each affiliate is linked to a specific provider.

  2. What is the difference between the “Advertiser” field in the “Enable traffic for selected users” section and the one in the “Lead Profile” section?

The “Advertiser” field in the “Enable traffic for selected users” section shows all advertisers directly integrated with Lead Distribution. Meanwhile, the “Advertiser” field in “Lead Profile” allows you to specify UUIDs of the advertisers created in Partners Platform.

  3. Can I restrict a user to view leads of a specific state?

No, it is not possible to limit access to a specific lead state. However, you can restrict a user from viewing all lead states or only rejected leads separately.

  4. Can I hide the names of individual advertisers/affiliates while keeping others visible?

No, it is not possible to hide individual advertiser/affiliate names – only all advertiser/affiliate names at once.

If you do not want to share a specific name with a user, you can manually rename advertiser – in Lead Distribution, affiliate – in Partners Platform.
