Features

Introduced Rotation Control recommendations

The feature offers personalized tips to optimize your traffic rotation strategy and thus increase revenue.

How recommendations work

Statistics for all advertisers' elements (which are not into a SMART folder) are gathered. Once the statistics have been gathered, the system identifies which aff_sub values performed best in increasing the required metric.

Example: If a lead with aff_sub2=new was pushed to Advertiser 1 whereas another lead with aff_sub2=old was pushed to Advertiser 2, recommendations for the mentioned advertisers will look as in the screenshot below.

With the current update, you may notice a pop-up message that suggests you try our recommendations.

Once clicking the button, you can see 2 types of recommendations:

  • Metrics – tips to boost metric of certain advertisers aim to increase campaigns performance (conversion rate, revenue, etc.)

Metrics are updated once every 24 hours. Top 10 metrics that worked best for the last 5 days are introduced in the list.

At the right of a metric line, the number of tips for the certain metric for all advertisers is shown. When you click a metric, the list of all recommendations appear. Here, you can click a specific tip’s advertiser.

Thus, you will be transferred to a specific rotation element for which the recommendation was created.

If you do not want a certain metric recommendations to be displayed, click the highlighted button, so its tips will not appear in future.

  • Rejects list of errors of a certain type for a specific advertiser.

Errors for the last 24 hours are only displayed in the list. The error records are alligned in the descending order (the more errors of the same type an advertiser has, the higher the record is displayed in the list).

Thus, the recommendations help you to improve performance of your campaigns by boosting your metrics as well as by tracking and solving traffic-related issues.

Added an option to convert an existing Split folder into a SMART folder

This allows for a seamless existing Split folder transition or comparison to help determine the most effective lead allocation strategy.

Copy as a SMART folder

If you want to easily convert an existing Split folder into a SMART one, follow the steps below:

  1. Next to the required Split folder, click .... and select the “Copy as SMART folder“ option.

  1. In the appeared window, set up a new SMART folder by defining comparing and prioritizing criteria.

  1. Once submitting, the newly-created SMART folder will appear on top of the page as inactive. Additionally, its name will be the same as of the initial Split folder.

Compare with a SMART folder

If you want to compare an existing Split folder performance with a SMART folder to find out what strategy – manual or automatic – suits you most, you can easily do it as follows:

  1. Next to the required Split folder, click .... and select the “Compare with SMART folder“ option.

  1. In the appeared window, set up a new SMART folder by defining comparing and prioritizing criteria.

  1. Once submitting, the newly-created Comparing folder with 1 SMART and 1 Split folder inside will be created as inactive at the top of the page.

Next, you can monitor their performance via Drilldown Reports → Metric Report.

Here, you need to select the “Advertiser“ and “Compare Rotation Node“ option as groups.

The “Compare Rotation Node“ option allows displaying subelements of a Comparing folder in a Metric Report. Thus, you can easily compare the performance of your SMART and Split folders.

Common

Added the “Select all” checkbox to all multiple-select filters

This enhancement makes working with the filters and conditions where you can choose multiple options more convenient.

For example, you can find it in Traffic Data filters:

Also, in report conditions:

Improved conditions logic in Data Exporter and Drilldown

When using the “not contained in” operator when generating a Drilldown or Data Exporter report, empty values are now displayed as well.

Bugs

Fixed an issue with unassigned CRM sale statuses

When selecting a CRM sale status which was not mapped with an advertiser one, an error appeared in Traffic Data tables and Data Exporter.

Now, unassigned CRM sale statuses are not displayed in the selector.

Fixed an issue when entering an already existing injection name required reopening the window

When you had already changed an injection name due to the “Same name exists“ error, the error kept popping up until reopen the window and configure the settings from the scratch.

Now, you can change the name without reopening the window.
