How to create an advertiser?

If you want to add a new advertiser to the CRM system, we suggest you read this article to get familiar with the procedure and its details.


Let us describe the procedure step by step.

  1. First, go to Traffic Distribution → Advertisers.

  2. On the main page, click the + button located next to the Advertisers page title.

  1. In the appeared window, fill in the following fields:

  • Name – set an advertiser name.

  • Advertiser Provider – set an integration which connects advertiser's system with Lead Distribution.

  • Description (optional) – put down a brief description of the advertiser which will be displayed in their basic information.

  • Goal section – create necessary goal(s) for the advertiser and select a forcing sale status.
    Note: This section may be set up in the Goals section once the advertiser has been created.

  • Dummy Advertiser for Test checkbox – check it if this advertiser is created for testing.

  • Active switch – define if you want an advertiser to be created as active or not.

  1. When clicking "Submit", the newly-created advertiser appears in the advertiser table on the page.

  1. Then, perform the required API integration of the advertiser into our system. To do it, fill in the Integration Settings tab of the advertiser according to the API documentation provided by this advertiser.

  2. On the same tab, you are also to set up the Pulling Mappings section to pull the FTDs data from the advertiser or to transfer this data to your affiliates.
    To do so, click the + button next to the "Pulling Mappings" line and enter the data into the fields of the appeared modal window such as:

  • Name – set a name for the mapping.

  • Source – select the data source out of the following options:

    • Pull – you will receive the FTDs data from the advertiser.

    • Postback – your affiliate will receive the FTDs data from you.

Note: You need to set up at least one Pull – FTD mapping.

Once this advertiser has been integrated into our system, make sure that all the points below are set up before putting it into rotation:

  • A goal for this advertiser has been created. Read this article to learn how to create a goal.

  • Pull Leads Sale Statuses are enabled for the advertiser via Intergation Settings → Actions button (if needed). This option allows you to receive sale statuses assigned to leads by the advertiser.

When all these steps are completed, the advertiser is ready to be added to rotation control rules.
